NetFest is a mass participation netball event for those aged 18+ run by Netball Australia. Held on Surfers Paradise Beach from 12-15 October, NetFest offers a choice of traditional (outdoor) or beach netball tournaments and is supported by a range of social activities and live events.
Surfers Paradise Beach foreshore is one of Australia’s most iconic strips of sand! The buzzing section of paradise will host the 2017 NetFest beach netball competition. The sport will certainly bring an array of spectators who have cruised down for some entertainment from Cavill Ave.
Anyone over 18 can be a part of NetFest; you can be a social or competitive netballer, male or female, a netball newbie or an aspiring Aussie Diamond. Your biggest decision will be choosing between traditional (outdoor) netball or the exciting beach format.
